Ningbo Unibono Appliance Co., Ltd was founded in 2008 as a tooling and assembly workshop for Chinese-market hair clippers. Three things changed the company: a partnership with a top-five European grooming brand in 2013, the opening of our Thailand campus in 2019, and the integration of a CNAS-accredited lab in 2022.
Today we operate six dedicated production lines covering men's beard and body trimmers, IPX7 body groomers, lady shavers and bikini trimmers, pet clippers, vacuum hair-trimming systems, and baby and family hair clippers. Each line is run by a fixed team of operators and quality engineers - we do not sub-contract assembly.
Our customers are mostly importers, brand owners and large retailers across the EU, the UK, North America, the Middle East and ANZ. Most projects begin as an OEM brief and end with a custom-tooled, custom-firmware ODM line that they own outright.

01 - EngineeringIn-house tooling & R&D.
Eighty-two engineers in Ningbo: industrial design, electronic, mechanical, firmware and a dedicated mould-design team. Most ODM briefs go from sketch to T1 sample in six weeks - including two rounds of structural revision.
- Industrial design - concept boards, CMF, hand-feel mock-ups.
- Mechanical & electronic - motor, gearbox, blade tooling, PCB and battery design.
- Firmware & charging - Type-C PD, magnetic, wireless, intelligent thermal management.
- Tooling - 47 active injection moulds and 12 die-casts, all maintained in-house.
02 - ProductionSix lines. One product family each.
The 42,000 sqm Thailand campus runs six dedicated assembly lines - one for each product family, each with its own quality team. No tooling change-overs mid-batch, no operator re-training between SKUs.
- Capacity - 4M+ finished units per year, sustained.
- Origin - Made-in-Thailand certificate of origin for EU / UK / US shipping.
- Inline QC - every unit gets a powered functional test before packing.
- Packing - colour-box, gift-box and retail-ready pallet configurations on-site.
03 - QualityA CNAS lab, not a QC desk.
Our in-house testing lab is accredited to ISO/IEC 17025 by CNAS - meaning the test reports we issue are accepted by 100+ national bodies under the ILAC-MRA agreement. EMC, IPX7, drop, salt-spray and 1000-cycle lifetime tests all run on-site before shipping.

- Pre-shipment AQL 1.0 - on every batch, third-party inspection welcome.
- Lifetime test rig - 1000-cycle run on every new motor + blade pairing.

Each product line ships with the test reports your importer or retail chain will ask for. The lab is in-house - re-tests are days, not weeks.
