A ‘2 in 1’ label is a starting point, not a finished buying brief. The useful question is which two tasks the intended kit is meant to support—and which physical parts a buyer expects to see in the sample and the final pack.

Begin with the task, then name the head

Write the intended grooming task in plain language before selecting a head. For a project that needs both a hair-trimming function and a nose-and-ear trimming function, the buyer can ask to review each head as part of the selected sample. A task that has not been defined should remain an open question; a similar-looking attachment should not be assigned a use merely from its shape.

The published YH-7708 product record identifies a hair trimmer and a nose-and-ear trimmer in its head list. It is a useful reference for discussing a two-function configuration, not a promise that every project or market will receive the same final package.

Decide what the combs need to communicate

The same record lists hair-trimmer combs marked 3/6 mm and 9/12 mm. In a buyer brief, keep each marking beside the selected head and the sample reference. Ask the supplier to confirm how the selected project will present those markings on the product, instructions and packaging. The markings should not be used to claim compatibility with another model or an outcome the project has not established.

Walk the kit through three handoffs

Sample: Identify the model, each proposed head and the comb markings against the actual sample. Record anything that is absent or different as an open point.

Pack: Confirm the agreed items and their names with the project team. The published record also lists a 0.75 m Type-C cable and cleaning brush; whether they appear in a particular project's final pack must be confirmed for that project.
